Yoga for Kids

Subhadra Mattai
Yoga Instructor

Yoga & Kids - naturally meant for each other. Yoga provides a synergy of energy with breath, movement, strength, flexibility, grace, enjoyment of each moment, stillness, calm and focus on inner beauty. Yoga follows kids' natural tendency to move, bend, stretch and breath. Yoga poses are grounded in nature - mountains, forests, jungles, animals, birds, amphibians, etc. Yoga helps kids build self-confidence, boost self-esteem, practice non-violence, truthfulness, sharing, self-respect and respect for others. Most of all it is non-competitive. It is the ultimate stress management tool for growing kids teaching them mindfulness and mind-body-breath connection and using the breath to deal with anger, peer pressure, conflict and resolution.

Yoga is for the whole family to enjoy together.
